Panel welder wanted in Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
