Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date.
