Immediate opening: garment machinist (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Frio County, Texas. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
