Crane operator wanted in Walker County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Walker County, Texas. You will be based at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Day to day you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; check for underground cables and services before digging. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
