Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Merced County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
