Crane rigger wanted in Calabar Municipal

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. You will work at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 1+ years on the tools preferred.
