Short order cook — Tuscarawas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a short order cook in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
