Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Throckmorton County, Texas. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
