Now hiring: we are hiring a gatehouse guard in City of Fairfax, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out • Man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Monitor the CCTV screens in the control room • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
