Garment machinist wanted in Harlan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Harlan County, Kentucky. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
