Horticulturist wanted in Walsh County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Walsh County, North Dakota. The job is in a public park. You will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
