Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Grant Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an injection moulding unit. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings On a typical shift you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches.
