We are recruiting: overhead (EOT) crane operator (Ekiti State)

Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Ise/Orun, Ekiti State. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Full-time, day shift.
