Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Missaukee County, Michigan. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height The role involves cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
