Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Putnam County, New York. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
