We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble mason in Sac County, Iowa. The job is on a hotel and villa renovation project. What we are looking for: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Own hand tools an advantage Your main tasks: • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat Full-time with occasional weekends.
