The role involves break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
