GMAW welder • La Salle County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in La Salle County, Texas. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
