Join our team: offshore rigger (Alaska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. You will work at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Overtime paid at a premium rate.
