Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Bourbon County, Kentucky. You will work at a plant hire yard. Day to day you will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise 6+ years on the tools preferred.
