Join our team: commis chef (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Knox County, Missouri. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets On the job you will handle: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO Part-time with flexible hours.
