Turning centre operator • Daviess County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Daviess County, Indiana. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; write and edit G-code programs at the control. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
