Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Emanuel County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater What we are looking for: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
