Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Skagit County, Washington. The job is on a busy housing site. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
