Refrigeration installation technician • Macoupin County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Macoupin County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts The role involves: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Rotating shifts.
