Urgent requirement: fabrication workshop technician (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Chautauqua County, New York. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. What we are looking for: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine You will glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
