Fitter on the line — Hertford County

Join our team: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Hertford County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy assembly plant. Requirements: • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Can read work instructions and basic measurements • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts You will solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position; top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
