Dogger wanted in Contra Costa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Contra Costa County, California. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
