Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Howard County, Iowa. Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; score the top of loaves before baking. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 1+ years on the tools preferred.
