Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Knox County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Knox County, Kentucky. The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Six days a week, one day off. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
