Incoming goods inspector — Franklin County

Join our team: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Franklin County, Illinois. The job is in an automotive parts factory. You should have: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Your main tasks: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
