Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Cavalier County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 3+ years on the tools preferred.
