Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. The role involves measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
