Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Davidson County, Tennessee. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
