Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Bleckley County, Georgia. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred.
