Now hiring: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Putnam County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Full-time with occasional weekends.
