Tailor machinist — Kokona

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Kokona, Nasarawa State. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around ₦10,000 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
