Concrete labourer wanted in Ankpa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Ankpa, Kogi State. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Your main tasks: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Rotating shifts.
