Mason's helper wanted in Cherokee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mason's helper in Cherokee County, Iowa. You will be based on a building construction site. The role involves: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Rotating shifts.
