The role involves mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying.
