The role involves service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends.
