Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Freeborn County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 1+ years on the tools preferred.
