Fire and safety officer — Pitt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Pitt County, North Carolina. You will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Six days a week, one day off.
