Demolition labourer — Oceana County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Oceana County, Michigan. You will work on a residential housing site. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Your main tasks: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
