Requirements: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day to day you will secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames.
