Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Benton County, Missouri. On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Rotating shifts.
