You should have: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Normal colour vision for cable identification Day to day you will crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; test insulation resistance with a megger; wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards; dress and terminate wiring inside control panels; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB.
