Moulder — Newport County

Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Newport County, Rhode Island. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
