Rebar installer wanted in Falkirk

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Falkirk, Scotland. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
