Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Malheur County, Oregon. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures On the job you will handle: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
